We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician for Speedy Auto located at 2145 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON, L5K 2E2 Canada.

Workplace information

No. of position: 02

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues with engines, brakes, suspensions, and other essential systems

  • Perform repairs or replacements of faulty parts across various vehicle systems, including brakes, exhaust, steering, suspension, and heating/cooling systems.

  • Carry out routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and fluid checks to enhance vehicle performance and longevity.

  • Provide professional recommendations to ensure customer understanding and satisfaction.

  • Prepare detailed estimates of repair and maintenance costs, including parts and labour, and communicate these to customers for approval before commencing work.

  • Mentor and guide apprentices and junior technicians, providing instruction on proper repair techniques, tool usage, and safety protocols.

  • Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed, including parts used and time spent on each task, to ensure transparency and facilitate future service needs.

  • Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers.

  • May perform other duties reasonably assigned by the manager.

 

Prerequisites:

 

Education: Secondary certificate or equivalent 

Experience & Skills:               1 year to less than 2 years of experience 

Language: English


 

Annual Salary: $53,200  to $56,000 for 30 to 40 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
