Chef De Partie (Pizza)

 

We are looking for experienced Chef De Partie’s for Oretta Midtown Inc located at G120 – 2131 Yonge Street Toronto, ON M4S 0C5. 

No. of position: 02

Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizza and related menu items according to established recipes and standards for quality, portion control, and presentation.
    Assist the Head Chef and kitchen management in planning, organizing, and executing daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and high guest satisfaction.

  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff at the pizza station, providing guidance, training, and direction to maintain culinary standards and consistency.

  • Contribute to menu development and refinement of pizza offerings, including specialty pizzas, appetizers, and seasonal or daily specials, ensuring alignment with restaurant style and customer preferences.

  • Adjust recipes and dishes to accommodate dietary restrictions or special guest requests.

  • Oversee daily setup of the pizza station, ensuring all ingredients, dough, sauces, and toppings are stocked, organized, and prepared for service.

  • Monitor inventory of pizza ingredients, place orders as required, and manage proper storage and rotation to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
    Maintain and supervise cleaning and maintenance of pizza ovens, kitchen equipment, and workstations to ensure they are safe, functional, and ready for use.

  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards across the pizza station and kitchen, complying with health regulations.

  • Promote a positive team environment through effective communication, collaboration, and support among kitchen staff.
    Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


 

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary school or equivalent. 

Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food industry

Language:English

 

Hourly Rate: $ 36.00 to $ 38.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent
